On trouve des archives la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;un instrument ant\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de 1850, possiblement dans une chapelle ou sur une estrade. Il est remani\u00e9 par Th\u00e9odore Puget en 1920, dont l&rsquo;inauguration a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e par D\u00e9bat-Ponsan, organiste de la Basilique de la Daurade (Toulouse). Sa derni\u00e8re restauration date de 2001, et f\u00fbt men\u00e9e par G\u00e9rard Bancells. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Jungk construit alors un orgue de 19 registres r\u00e9partis sur deux claviers manuels, et un clavier p\u00e9dalier, en faisant ainsi un instrument assez important. Cette quantit\u00e9 de registres peut surprendre lorsque l&rsquo;on observe l&rsquo;orgue depuis la nef, ce dernier \u00e9tant d&rsquo;une assez faible largeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A ce jour, l&rsquo;entretien de l&rsquo;instrument est assur\u00e9 par L\u00e9a Malvy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La paroisse de Villefranche-de-Lauragais tient \u00e0 ce que l&rsquo;orgue accompagne l&rsquo;ensemble des offices dominicaux. Modifi\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises par la suite, notamment par le facteur Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Jungk en 1850, puis reconstruit dans sa quasi-int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 par&nbsp;Th\u00e9odore Puget&nbsp;en&nbsp;1898.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-contrast-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e2d3f43d26045b3083f957d2517c1102 wp-block-paragraph\">En 1994, il est de nouveau reconstruit par la Maison Pesce, qui assure depuis l&rsquo;entretien de l&rsquo;instrument.
